The Grand Canyon 18" to 42" Arizona Weathered Oak Charred Vented Gas Logs premier log set out. All of our logs are cast from real logs found in nature and then hand-painted to bring to life the natural beauty. All of our products tell a story and the stories that are behind the creation of this set are no different. 40 years ago a young Utah boy was hiking through the Red Vermilion Cliffs on the Southern side of Utah when he and his family came across a scrub oak that had been struck down by Mother Nature. The sheer essence and beauty of this lightning-struck Oak would leave a lifelong lasting impression in this young boy's mind. It wasn't until October of 2011 that this Scrub Oak was rediscovered laying in the same spot that it had been 40 years earlier and even more beautiful than ever. The Utah boy now a man with a family of his own backpacked the logs of the fallen oak out of the canyon to be enjoyed in your home today.
The Arizona Weathered Oak Charred logs are cast from real logs found in real landscapes, then hand-painted to highlight the most beautiful aspects of this species of wood. This specific log set is formed from a lightning-struck scrub oak tree that was previously discovered and rediscovered years later in the same exact condition. The logs have been backpacked in order to help create amazing living spaces and there is one extra step - Grand Canyon craftsmen notch the front log which allows the fire to burn through, creating a charred visual.
Vented Logs
All Logs manufactured by Grand Canyon Gas Logs are individually cast and hand painted to perfection. All logs are built with a high temperature concrete, ceramic refractory and stainless-steel fiber mesh. Logs installed indoors carry a lifetime warranty and logs that are installed outside carry a 5-year warranty.
The logs in a Grand Canyon Gas Log set are hand-painted and cast from real logs. These logs are made in the United States by artisans dedicated to their craft. You can bet a Grand Canyon Gas Log set will look great. And no two logs will look alike.
