The Empire SD46DVAFCFX7 is the flex adaptor collar that connects 4" x 7" flex vent to a fireplace with 4" x 6-5/8" collars. Empire's price list lists it as a DV adaptor, 4 x 6 5/8 to 4 x 7 flex vent.

Installation Notes

• When it is needed: the Tahoe Clean-Face Premium and Contemporary manuals say the DVVK-4F flex kit requires it and list it as a flex adaptor collar that must be used with flex kits; the Loft manual says the DVVK-4FV vertical flex kit requires it.
• Installation: add sealant to the flue adapter collar, insert it into the fireplace flue collar and secure it with four #6 x 1/2" self-tapping screws (Tahoe Clean-Face Premium manual).
• Vent limits: allowed lengths, elbows and termination clearances differ from one appliance to the next. Follow the venting section of your appliance's manual and the vent systems it approves.
