Modern Flames Orion Series
The Orion is the flagship. Orion V2 models use an LCD flame display for depth and detail, and come in three formats: Multi Linear for three-sided corner and peninsula installs, Slim Linear for single-sided flat walls, and Traditional for a conventional firebox shape. Widths run from a 26" traditional up to a 120" linear.
Modern Flames Landscape Pro
Landscape Pro is the built-in series for new walls and remodels, in two depths: Multi-Sided for three-sided viewing and Slim for a flush single-sided look. Both run from 44" to 96", with the Multi-Sided also available at 120". Pair one with the Studio Suites cabinet or a 5-piece trim kit to finish the opening.
Modern Flames Inserts and Wall Mounts
Redstone built-in inserts slide into an existing firebox opening from 26" to 54". For a simpler install, the Spectrum Slimline wall mount and recessed models come in 50", 60", 74" and 100", and the Challenger linear wall mount is available in 50" and 60" as the most affordable way into the brand.
Nova Clear Laser Projection
The Nova Clear 48" See-Through uses laser projection rather than a screen, for a flame you can see through from both sides. It is the most distinctive piece Modern Flames makes.
Media Walls, Timber Kits and Accessories
Finish the install with a Modern Flames Allwood media wall system, TruWood premium timber kits sized to your fireplace, optional surrounds and top pieces for Orion Traditional and Redstone, non-glare mesh screens, and a thermostat and full wall control.
Modern Flames FAQs
Do Modern Flames electric fireplaces need venting?
No. Electric fireplaces produce no combustion byproducts, so they need no chimney, flue or gas line. That makes them practical in bedrooms, basements, apartments and media walls where a gas or wood fireplace is not an option.
Can I run the flame without the heat?
Yes. Modern Flames models let you run the flame effect on its own, so the fireplace works as a visual feature in summer and as supplemental heat in winter.
What is the difference between Multi and Slim?
Multi models have glass on three sides for corner, peninsula and island installations. Slim models are single-sided and sit flush in a flat wall. Both are offered across the Orion and Landscape Pro lines.
What is the difference between a built-in and a wall mount?
A built-in is framed into the wall during construction or a remodel for a seamless finished look. A wall mount hangs on the surface or recesses partway, which makes it far easier to retrofit into a finished room.
How do I choose a size?
Measure the wall or opening and leave room for framing and finish material. As a rule, a fireplace that spans roughly half to two thirds of the wall reads as intentional. Send us your wall dimensions and we will recommend a model.
