The TrueFlame 32" built-in gas grill has 4 cast stainless steel burners, square stainless steel grates, LED front lighting and halogen interior lights, plus a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner. Order TF32 for natural gas or TF32L for liquid propane. Choose the gas you will connect; orifices for the other gas are included.

Installation

• Island: the manual calls for non-combustible construction (cement board over steel studs is recommended). If the grill goes into a combustible surround, the TrueFlame insulating jacket/grill liner (GL-TF32) must be used.
• With the GL-TF32 liner, cut the island to the liner cutout instead of the grill cutout.
• Clearances to the right, left and rear: 2" minimum to a non-combustible wall, 10" to a protected combustible wall, 14" to a combustible wall.
• Overhead: at least 5 ft between the countertop and any overhead construction. Under combustible overhead construction an exhaust hood is required, larger than the cooking area, with a blower of at least 1000 CFM. Never install under unprotected combustible overhead construction.
• Island ventilation: leave one side of the enclosure completely open, or provide at least two vent openings with a combined free area of at least 40 sq. in. Natural gas: vents near the top of the enclosure; propane: vents near the bottom. Openings sit 1" to 5" from the countertop or floor.
• A regulator is required; never connect the grill to an unregulated gas supply. Natural gas: install with the NG regulator supplied with the grill, set to 4.0" water column. Liquid propane: install with an LP regulator set to 11" water column.
• Inlet pressure: natural gas 4.0" to 7.0" water column; propane 10.0" to 14.0" water column.
• Gas supply pipe: never less than 1/2" inside diameter.
• LP models are designed for a standard 20 lb. LP tank with a type 1 valve connection (tank not included).
• Orifices for the other gas type are included with the grill (packed with the manual). Converting may require additional parts that are not included.
• Electrical: the halogen interior lights and LED front lights run from the included transformer, which plugs into an electrical outlet. Outlets near the grill must be grounded per local codes or the National Electrical Code (ANSI/NFPA 70).

Please Note

• Build to the cutout listed here. The line drawing recommends adding 1/4" to the inner cutout dimensions so the grill fits. Confirm against the line drawing or with us before cutting.
• Overall dimensions are from the manufacturer's manual; the line drawing and data sheet print slightly different fractions. Contact us if a fraction of an inch matters for your build.
• Do not rely on the lighted knobs as the only sign that gas is flowing.

Warranty

Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on the stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers and heat zone separators; 3 years on all other parts, components and electrical, including LED bulbs, wire harness, switches, transformer and the interior halogen light wire and bulb. Register online within 30 days of purchase; coverage is replacement parts only (no labor) for the original purchaser.
