Dimplex Tamper Proof Glass Front for BF Fireboxes

Dimplex Tamper Proof Glass Front

The Dimplex tamper-proof glass front is a single fixed pane that closes a BF built-in firebox. Nothing opens, nothing hinges and nothing can be pulled off, which is exactly why it is the pane specified for hotels, care homes, waiting rooms and anywhere else the public can reach the fireplace.

It is also the cleanest of the three BF front options if your interior is modern — one sheet of glass rather than a suggestion of doors.

Remember that the BF firebox drops into its opening and leaves a gap. A glass front, a door kit or a trim kit is what covers that gap, so one of them is not optional if you want a finished result.

Choose Your Size

Match the pane to the firebox size, not to your opening. The 39" pane fits both the Deluxe and the Standard 39" fireboxes — they share a shell.

Why This One for Commercial Work

The BF line is already the range Dimplex builds for public spaces — cool-touch glass, no flue, no fuel, and compliance with the strictest building codes. The tamper-proof front completes that: there is no moving part for a child to trap a finger in and nothing a guest can detach. If you are specifying a fireplace into a space you do not control, this is the front to choose.

The Other Two Options

• Bi-fold look glass door — the traditional folded-panel appearance, for a classic hearth.
• Glass swing doors — doors that actually open, with black accents. 33" and 39" only.
