Empire 18” Length 12” Diameter Vent Pipe

The Empire 18 inch chimney section (model number WB12V18) is part of Empire's 12 inch air-cooled chimney system for the Blackburn 54 wood burning firebox (WB5412FB0F) and the Aspen 60" Traditional outdoor wood firebox (OWB60FB0F).

Once joined, it adds 18 inches of effective chimney height, as listed in the installation manual (joints overlap 1 1/4 inch, already counted in that figure).

Specifications

Installation Notes

• Assembly: sections lock together by pushing down until the upper section meets the stop bead on the one below; they cannot be taken apart once locked. Screws, if used, are #6 or #8 sheet metal screws no longer than 1/2 inch and must not go through the inner flue.
• Support: straight vertical runs must be supported every 30 ft.
• Clearance: keep a 2 inch air space between the chimney and insulation or other combustible materials along its whole run.
• Planning: chimney height limits, offset tables and the termination rules are in the installation manual. Use only the chimney components named in the manual.

Empire's wood firebox manuals give venting parts a limited 10-year parts warranty against defects in workmanship or material, for the original purchaser. Travel, diagnostic, freight, removal and reinstallation costs are not covered. Full terms are in the warranty section of the installation manual.
