The TrueFlame TF-VH36-2-SP4 is a 4" spacer bracket for the 36" TF-VH36-2 vent hood. It mounts between the wall and the hood and moves the hood 4" off the wall. It fits the TF-VH36-2 only; for an 8" offset, choose the TF-VH36-2-SP8.

Installation

• Use this spacer in place of the hood's 1/2" mounting template; never use the template and a spacer together.
• Secure the spacer into multiple wall studs with proper hardware. Metal framing needs additional studs and screws.
• The manufacturer says spacer installation must be done by a qualified professional installer.
• Mount the bottom of the hood 32" minimum and 36" maximum above the grill cooking surface (manufacturer recommendation).

Please Note

• If you add a duct cover to a hood mounted on this spacer, a 4" duct cover filler panel (TF-DCF-SP4) closes the gap between the duct cover and the wall. Ask us about this part.

Covered by the TrueFlame (AMD Direct) Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty, for purchases as of 3/1/23. It covers replacement parts only (labor is not covered), applies to the original purchaser, and requires online registration within 30 days.
