TrueFlame 36" Vent Hood with 1,000 CFM Motor and Mounting Bracket - TF-VH36-2
The TrueFlame TF-VH36-2 is a 36" outdoor rated, wall-mounted vent hood with one 1,000 CFM blower, two LED lights and a single 8" duct connection. It vents from the top or the rear and comes with a 1/2" mounting template (the mounting bracket). The manufacturer recommends a hood at least 6" wider than the cooking appliance below it.

Installation
- Mount the bottom of the hood 32" minimum and 36" maximum above the grill cooking surface (manufacturer recommendation).
- For wood or charcoal, the manual recommends a minimum clearance of 36".
- Choose a hood at least 6" wider than the cooking appliance; it should extend 3"-6" past each side and the front of the grill.
- Use 8" round galvanized rigid single-wall vent pipe from the transition onward, with an 8" roof or wall vent cap minimum.
- Use a non-restrictive termination cap; do not use a restrictive cap or damper.
- Do not end the vent in an attic or other enclosed area. More than 20 ft of total vent pipe reduces the hood's effectiveness.
- Power: 120 V / 60 Hz. The earlier manual for this model calls for a properly wired 120 VAC (15 amp minimum) GFCI grounded 3-wire receptacle (not included) and no extension cord.
- Use either the included 1/2" mounting template or a 4" or 8" spacer bracket, never the template and a spacer together.

Please Note
- The manufacturer's installation manual gives different limits in different places for the elbows allowed in the vent run and for how many people are needed to install the hood. Follow the installation manual and confirm your vent run and install plan with us before you buy duct parts.
