True North TN25c Wood Stove with Pedestal

The True North TN25C is a catalytic wood stove with a 2.0 cu. ft. firebox, certified to the EPA 2020 standard at 1.1 g/hr. It pairs Electronic Combustion Assist with a passive catalytic combustor. This listing is the pedestal model in metallic black, order number 31010017.

A mobile home installation must use a listed double-wall connector and outside combustion air, and the chimney must rise at least 12 ft above the top of the stove.

Floor Protection

The stove can sit on a combustible floor when it stands on non-combustible ember protection (UL 1618 Type 1, the equivalent of 20 gauge steel or tile). The protection must reach 16 in. in front of the firebox and 8 in. past each side of the loading door opening. Minimum size: 28 3/4 in. wide x 41 in. deep. It is also needed under a horizontal chimney connector and 2 in. beyond each side of it.

Install to the manual and your local codes. True North recommends an NFI-certified installer. Ask your local building or fire officials about permits and inspection before you install.

This stove has a catalytic combustor. It is against federal regulations to operate it with the catalyst removed or deactivated.

Warranty

True North Wood Products Warranty, for the original purchaser:

  • 3 years parts, 1 year labor: firebox, castings and glass (thermal breakage only, not impact)
  • 1 year parts and labor: electrical components and switches
  • 1 year parts only: gaskets, paint (peeling), bricks, baffle tubes, baffle manifold and ceramic fibre board

The warranty is not transferable and covers normal residential use. Conditions and exclusions are in the manual.
