True North TN20 Wood Insert
The True North TN20 Series B is a non-catalytic wood insert with a 2.0 cu. ft. firebox that turns an existing fireplace into an EPA 2020 certified heater. It ships complete with the standard surround and a blower. Order number 31040002, metallic black.

- 6 in. listed stainless steel chimney liner, rigid or flexible. Pacific Energy recommends a full liner to the top of the chimney. A direct flue connection, with the liner sealed into the first flue tile, is also permitted in the USA.

Hearth
The masonry hearth must extend at least 16 in. in front of the fireplace opening and 8 in. beyond each side when it is raised at least 1 in. above a combustible floor. If the hearth is flush with a combustible floor it must extend 21 in. in front.
Install to the manual and your local codes. True North recommends an NFI-certified installer. Ask your local building or fire officials about permits and inspection before you install.
Warranty
True North Wood Products Warranty, for the original purchaser:
- 3 years parts, 1 year labor: firebox, castings and glass (thermal breakage only, not impact)
- 1 year parts and labor: electrical components and switches
- 1 year parts only: gaskets, paint (peeling), bricks, baffle tubes, baffle manifold and ceramic fibre board
The warranty is not transferable and covers normal residential use. Conditions and exclusions are in the manual.
