Superior FST30 8" Chimney Firestop Thimble (Use when offsetting through a joist)

The Superior FST30 is a firestop thimble for Superior's 8" standard (8DM) wood-burning chimney system. Superior specifies it for use when the chimney is offset through a joist. The 8DM chimney is used with Superior WRT/WCT2036, WRT/WCT2042, WRT/WCT3036, WRT/WCT3042, WRE3036 and WRE3042 wood-burning fireplaces.

For a chimney that passes straight through a joist, Superior lists a separate thimble for penetrating a joist.
