The Sierra Flame Newcomb 36 is a contemporary direct vent linear gas fireplace with black porcelain panels, black reflective glass and a 3-piece rock set. The Standard version uses a basic remote; the Deluxe adds the 7-day programmable thermostat remote, dual fan control and a modulating valve for flame height.

What to Order With It

Surround: NEWCOMB-CLEAN-BLK clean face black surround with safety barrier, or the NEWCOMB-36-SURR-BLK-SCR decorative black surround with screen.
Venting (4" x 7" direct vent, top vent only): 4" x 7" venting parts (termination kit, flex, couplers and hard-pipe adapters).
Propane: choose the Liquid Propane option above. To convert a natural gas unit later, order the NEW-LP-KIT conversion kit.

Sierra Flame gas fireplace limited warranty: five years against defects in materials and workmanship on the combustion chamber, heat exchanger and burners (and stainless steel parts against tarnishing); one year on electrical and wear parts such as blowers, gas valves, switches, wiring, remote controls, igniters, gaskets, glass (thermal damage only) and pilot assemblies. It covers the original purchaser from an authorized Sierra Flame dealer and requires installation by a licensed technician to the manual and local codes.
