Grand Canyon High Capacity Indoor 720K Electronic Ignition System
The Grand Canyon High Capacity Indoor 720K Electronic Ignition System is an in-wall electronic ignition system for the largest custom fireplaces. The valve, ignition module and 24V transformer are mounted in a metal box that goes in the wall near the fireplace, and a pilot assembly on a long lead runs to the burner. When you switch the fire on, the pilot sparks, proves the flame and opens the burner; there is no standing pilot.
It is the highest capacity EIS (model EIS-INDOOR-720), rated to 720,000 BTU on natural gas, with a 6 ft pilot lead.

The model name says indoor, but the 2026 price guide marks this system for outdoor use. Tell us where it is going and we will confirm the right version with Grand Canyon.
The control box must be mounted where it can be reached later for service, within 5 ft of the fireplace with the 6 ft pilot lead or within 9 ft with the 10 ft lead. The system must be installed by a qualified installer.
Warranty
Valves and electrical components: two years from the purchase date when installed indoors by a certified gas installer and used with Grand Canyon burners and logs; one year if installed outdoors. Batteries are not covered. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser.
