The Grand Canyon 18" Thermocouple (model 1900-01H) is the flame sensor on the safety pilot and modulating millivolt kits. It sits in the pilot flame and holds the gas valve open; if the pilot goes out, it lets the valve close. This is a replacement part. Have it fitted by a qualified gas installer.

Warranty

Valves and electrical components: two years from the purchase date when installed indoors by a certified gas installer and used with Grand Canyon burners and logs; one year if installed outdoors. Batteries are not covered. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser.
