Installation Notes

• See-through models: Empire's price list says these mantels fit the peninsula models; for see-through fireplaces it points to its profile mantels and mantel shelves instead.
• Tahoe peninsula: the Tahoe manual says the 3-piece canopy and end shield supplied with the fireplace must be installed when the EMPT mantel top is used, together with the four mantel corner brackets that come with the mantel top, and the vent must start out horizontally.
• Vent-free models: follow the mantel clearances in the fireplace or firebox manual.
• Assembly: assembly instructions come with the mantel; they are not on file with us, so ask us if you have questions before ordering the mantel base.
