Installation Notes

• Wall depth: the wall depth plus the DV822's 3" must not exceed 13-3/4" in total; deeper walls need the run extended with 4" x 6-5/8" rigid pipe (DVVK4RE sheet).
• When to use it: the DVVK4RE sheet calls for it on wood, lap or vinyl siding. It goes on the exterior wall sheathing before the cap's mounting plate.
• Installation: must be installed by a qualified installer following the fireplace manual and local codes. In Massachusetts, gas work must be done by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.
