Empire Decorative Top for Loft Vent-Free Burners

Empire decorative tops (model numbers DT18PB, DT18SS, DT24PB, DT24SS, DT30PB, DT30SS, DTU24PB and DTU24SS) cover the top of a Loft vent-free burner in polished black or brushed stainless steel. They are an optional accessory; Loft burners can run with or without a top.

Each top fits one burner size. It goes on after the burner is installed and leak tested: set it over the burner and fold the side tabs over to hold it in place.

Specifications

Installation Requirements

• Order of work: install, secure and leak test the burner first; if it runs on a remote, check that the remote works before fitting the top.
• Fitting: place the top over the burner and fold the side tabs over to secure it.
• Use: use only the top listed for your burner size; the burner manuals warn against accessories not approved for the heater.
• Installation: the burner must be installed by a qualified installer per its installation manual and local codes. In Massachusetts the installation must be done by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.
