The Empire DVFB36SPBL (model number DVFB36SPBL) is the matte black barrier screen kit for the Tahoe 36" peninsula and see-through direct-vent fireplaces. The peninsula also uses the DVFB22TBL barrier, sold separately.

• Barrier required: the fireplace manual says a barrier screen is required to operate the fireplace and is sold separately; follow the instructions that come with the screen.
• Peninsula and see-through: the Tahoe peninsula and see-through manual lists the DVFB36SPBL barrier screen kit for both the peninsula (DVP36PP) and the see-through (DVP36SP), and the DVFB22TBL kit for the peninsula only.
• Annual check: the manual's annual inspection includes checking the barrier screen for fit and structural integrity.
