Empire 18"/24"/30" Vista Multi-Sided Gas Burner with Millivolt Valve (Burner Only)

Designed to fit see-through and peninsula fireboxes, Empire Vent-Free Slope Glaze Vista Burners provide a great view from any angle. Ceramic beads inside the burner tumble the gas to create exceptionally realistic flame movement.

The Vista Slope Glaze Burner is designed for use in a multi-sided, peninsula or see-thru fireplace or firebox. The Slope Glaze Burner features concealed controls and includes a standing pilot for instant starts. This burner includes a millivolt valve and features ON/OFF operation and can be controlled manually or by remote or wall switch (sold separately). There is no flame control or temperature adjustment with this burner. There is the option of using a thermostat, a remote or a combination thermostat and remote. It DOES NOT include a remote or a thermostat.

The See-Through Vent-Free Slope Glaze Burner offers 18, 24 and 30-Inch options that can reach up to 40,000 BTU while the Millivolt Safety Valve includes an on/off switch to allow easy control over your flame presence. This burner requires an Empire "LSU" log set in a matching size for optimal Double Sided or Peninsula fireplace performance. Installation Requirements

• Approved for: Installation only in a solid-fuel burning masonry or UL 127 factory-built fireplace, or in a listed ventless firebox enclosure.
• Venting: Vent-free: no chimney or vent needed when installed as a vent-free heater. May also be installed vented; the damper clamp must then be used. Thermostats are not approved for vented decorative installations.
• Clearances to combustibles: Sides of the fireplace opening at least 6" from any combustible wall; ceiling at least 41" above the fireplace opening.
• Mantel clearance: Non-combustible material must extend at least 12" above the fireplace opening (at least 8" with the optional hood). Follow the mantel chart in the installation manual for any combustible mantel.
• Minimum room size: The room must have at least 50 cubic feet of volume per 1,000 Btu/hr of input (unconfined space). At maximum input that is at least 18": 1,800 cu ft; 24": 1,900 cu ft; 30": 2,000 cu ft.
• Bedrooms and bathrooms: Not permitted in a bedroom or bathroom. The manual prohibits unvented heaters over 10,000 Btu/hr in bedrooms and over 6,000 Btu/hr in bathrooms, and every model on this page is rated above 10,000 Btu/hr.
• Gas input (BTU/hr): 18": 36,000 max / 25,000 min; 24": 38,000 max / 26,500 min; 30": 40,000 max / 28,000 min (same for natural gas and propane).
• Power: Millivolt valve; needs no electricity to run the burner.
• Installation: Must be installed by a qualified installer per the installation manual and local codes.
