Empire Vent Free Heat Transfer TV Kit

Empire Vent Free Heat Transfer TV Kit

The Empire HMFATV (model number HMFATV) is the vent-free heat transfer TV kit in Empire's heat management line for the Boulevard vent-free linear fireplaces (VFLB36/48/60/72FP). Empire's price list groups it under "TV Kit Heat Management" and says to order all three required items: the HMFA external forced air heat management system, the SD6DFA25 flex vent kit the HMFA needs, and this HMFATV kit.

The price list also calls for the vent-free heat transfer kit in your fireplace size (HMFA36P, HMFA48P, HMFA60P or HMFA72P) and recommends the matching HMFAF black beveled frame.

Installation Notes

• TV above a fireplace: the Boulevard vent-free manual says the area above any fireplace gets hot, that most TV makers recommend against placing their products near a heat source, and that Empire accepts no responsibility for damage or injuries if a TV is installed above the fireplace. Follow the TV maker's instructions, and turn off the fireplace and let it cool completely before servicing or touching any buttons on the TV.
• Details: this kit is listed in Empire's price list but has no instruction sheet of its own on file, so ask us if you have questions about fit or installation before ordering.
• Installation: by a qualified installer, following the instructions supplied with the kits and the fireplace manual. In Massachusetts, gas work must be done by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.
