Empire Stove Forced Air Distribution Kit for St. Clair Wood Burning Fireplaces

The Empire Stove forced air kit (model number WB2FA) uses a fan to send heat from a St. Clair fireplace to adjacent rooms, an upper floor or a lower floor up to 50 ft away, through 6 inch insulated flexible duct.

Control Rheostat (manual) and/or the thermal switch under the firebox

Installation Notes

  • Furnace ducts: connection to a furnace hot air duct is allowed in the US (UL 391) with a backflow shutter (not included) between the kit fan and the furnace duct; never connect to a cold air return. Keep the fireplace fan wiring separate from the furnace fan wiring.
  • Safety: Empire strongly recommends a carbon monoxide detector in the room with the fireplace.
