Barbara Jean Collection builds outdoor gas fire features in Winnipeg, Manitoba; every unit is crafted in Canada and certified for the USA and Canada as an outdoor decorative gas appliance. The range starts with linear burners from 24" to 96" for building your own fire pit, fire table or fire wall, and adds ready-to-use fire stands, assembled chat-height fire tables, 36" to 72" single-sided and see-through linear fireplaces, a 42" zero clearance outdoor fireplace and a 20" round fire pit burner, plus the glass media, log sets, stones, wind guards and covers to finish them.

The OB linear burners are complete, certified burner systems for building your own fire pit, fire table or fire wall, in 24", 36", 48", 72" and 96" lengths, and they can be linked for longer runs. Choose a manual valve for propane (24" to 48"), a millivolt valve, or an IPI Proflame 2 valve with LED lighting (24" to 72") for natural gas. The fire stands put a 24", 36" or 48" propane burner on its own freestanding base, with a 10 ft hose and regulator.
Fire Tables
Assembled, chat-height (25 1/4") propane fire tables in 24", 36" and 48" burner sizes, in black with gray or brown accents. Each comes with a wind guard, bronze glass media and a weather cover, plus a natural gas conversion orifice.
Outdoor Fireplaces
- Linear fireplaces: 36", 48" and 72" in single-sided and see-through models, with a stainless steel firebox and a millivolt valve or an IPI Proflame 2 system with a remote and multi-color LED lighting. Built for natural gas; propane conversion kits are available.
- 42" zero clearance outdoor fireplace: traditional style in Satin Coat black or stainless steel, 55,000 BTU, with a stainless pull screen, lava rock and optional brick liners and surround.
Fire Pits
The FP2085 round fire pit burner (20" diameter) runs on natural gas (57,000 BTU) or propane (64,000 BTU) and comes with a flat cover and lava rock. Finish it with the LOGC86 cast oak log set, decorative stones or glass media.

- Glass media in cobalt blue, white, bronze, black and Zircon Glacier Ice; driftwood log sets; decorative stones; the Contemporary Collection rock set; cannonballs
- Wind guards, fire table weather covers and fireplace weather covers
- Stainless steel surrounds, safety screen barriers, brick liners, the split oak log set, cast oak fire pit log sets and the spark assist for millivolt models
Barbara Jean Warranty
The burner is warranted against defects for five years; gas valves, thermocouples, igniters, lights and media for one year; the FP2085 and FP2785 fire pits for one year. Where is Barbara Jean made?
Barbara Jean Collection is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and its units are crafted in Canada. Every model is certified for the USA and Canada as an outdoor decorative gas appliance.
Can I run it on propane or natural gas?
Both. The manual valve burners, fire stands and fire tables ship for propane with a natural gas conversion orifice included. The millivolt and IPI burners and the linear and 42" fireplaces are built for natural gas, with propane conversion kits available for each size.
What is the difference between millivolt and IPI Proflame 2?
Millivolt models light with a piezo igniter, and the OFP42SA spark assist can be added. IPI Proflame 2 models include a remote control with flame height and multi-color LED accent lighting control.
Do I need a wind guard?
A wind guard is required on the fire tables and comes with them. It is recommended for the linear burners and fire stands.
Can it go under a covered patio or porch?
Barbara Jean sets minimum clearances, including 49 1/2" from the top of a burner tray to a ceiling, 50" above a fire table top and 7 ft above the fire pits. The 42" outdoor fireplace and the linear fireplaces have screened and covered porch rules in their manuals. Check the manual on each product page before you plan the space.
