Dimplex Moulded Log Set for Ignite Evolve

The Dimplex moulded log set replaces the ember media in an Ignite Evolve firebox with a run of faux wood logs, turning a contemporary linear fire into something closer to a traditional hearth. It is sized to the firebox, so the logs run the full width of the opening rather than sitting as a cluster in the middle.

Which you need depends entirely on which Evolve you have — these are not interchangeable.

Match the Log Set to Your Fireplace

Buying for a 100-inch Evolve? Dimplex does not make an LML100. Their current price list associates the 50" log set with both the 50" and the 100" fireplace, which suggests the 100" is filled with more than one set rather than a single longer one. We have not been able to confirm the quantity from Dimplex's documentation, so call us before ordering for an Evolve 100" and we will confirm it rather than have you guess and end up short.

Why Change the Media at All

The Ignite Evolve ships with a contemporary ember bed, and for a lot of rooms that is the right look. The log set is for the other case — a traditional interior, a period house, or simply a client who wants the fire to read as wood rather than as light on glass. Nothing else about the fireplace changes: same flame effect, same heater, same controls.

It is also reversible. The media lifts out, so a log set is not a decision you are stuck with.
