A true delight for lovers of pure lines with its large glass surface and sleek faceplate, the Valcourt Antoinette Wood Burning Fireplace will enhance any decor while respecting the style of your room. The authentic guillotine door, developed by Valcourt, slides effortlessly to allow you to easily feed the fire, just like its spark fire screen, also equipped with a guillotine mechanism.
What kind of fireplace is this? The Antoinette is a low mass decorative fireplace, qualified at Phase 2 of the US EPA's voluntary Low Mass Woodburning Fireplace programme — which makes it up to 70% cleaner than an unqualified decorative fireplace. That is a different category from an EPA-certified wood heater like the Lafayette II or Waterloo: emissions are measured in grams per kilogram of wood rather than grams per hour, and there is no published efficiency or burn-time rating. Valcourt recommends it for spaces under 1,000 sq ft and states that it must serve as a supplementary heat source, with a primary heat source available in the home. Choose the Antoinette for the fire and the guillotine door; choose one of the EPA-certified models if you need it to carry the heating load.
The Antoinette FP7D needs a trim and brick panels to be complete. Choose from each required group below.
Osburn and Valcourt are both built by SBI and share many parts, so some links below open our Osburn listing for the same part number.
