Superior - Horizontal Firestop 8DVLHF is a heavy duty firestop solution designed to provide superior fire resistance in horizontal applications. It is suitable for use in walls and floors and is UL classified for up to 3 hours of fire resistance. The product is composed of a mineral wool based core that is encapsulated in a water-resistant, flame-retardant wrap.

It is designed to resist the passage of flame, smoke and hot gases through openings in walls and floors and is tested in accordance with ASTM E814 and UL 1479. Superior - Horizontal Firestop 8DVLHF is suitable for use in commercial, residential, and industrial applications and provides superior protection in both new and retrofit construction.
