What to Order With It
Every size ships with what is listed above. You still need a log set made for this burner: Charred Frontier Oak, Charred Aged Split, Charred Alpine Birch, Charred Gnarled Split and Gnarled Oak. A vent-free burner is certified only with its own log sets.

From the owner's manual. These are the smallest fireboxes each size fits; the widths allow the set to be centered, and rear width is measured at the depth shown.

Clearances to combustibles, from the owner's manual:
- Sidewalls: at least 6" from each side of the fireplace opening
- Ceiling: at least 42" above the top of the fireplace opening
- Above the opening: at least 12" of noncombustible or heat-resistant material, or 10" if a fireplace hood is installed. Heat-resistant material such as marble or slate must be at least 5/8" thick
- Floor: if the burner sits at floor level or less than 6" above it, at least 12" of noncombustible material between the front of the fireplace and any combustible flooring
- Mantel or shelf: how far it may project depends on its height above the opening. Check the mantel clearance diagrams in the owner's manual before ordering
Vent-free burners are heaters and have room-size limits: the manual requires at least 50 cubic feet of room volume per 1,000 BTU. Burners over 10,000 BTU cannot go in a bedroom and burners over 6,000 BTU cannot go in a bathroom. Some states and cities restrict or prohibit vent-free gas appliances, so check your local code before ordering. Glass doors must be fully open while the burner is on.
Warranty
Indoor burners and stainless steel burners, excluding controls: ten years. Valves, pilots and controls: one year. Batteries are not covered. Logs carry their own warranty. The warranty is from R.H. Peterson Co., applies to the original purchaser for single-family residential use, runs from the purchase date and needs proof of purchase.
