Real Fyre 18" G21 Vent-Free Contemporary Glass Burner
The Real Fyre G21 is a vent-free contemporary glass burner from R.H. Peterson Co.: a stainless steel burner with a polished reflective panel that burns through a bed of Fyre Glass or Fyre Gems instead of logs. This listing is the 18" burner with on/off remote, order number G21-GL-18-12 for natural gas or G21-GL-18-12P for propane.
The glass is not included. The burner needs 7-1/2 lbs of Real Fyre glass or gems, ordered separately. Only Real Fyre glass and gems are certified for this burner.

Clearances to combustibles, from the owner's manual:
- Sidewalls: at least 6" from each side of the fireplace opening
- Ceiling: at least 42" above the top of the fireplace opening
- Above the opening: at least 12" of noncombustible or heat-resistant material, or 10" if a fireplace hood is installed. Heat-resistant material such as marble or slate must be at least 5/8" thick
- Floor: if the burner sits at floor level or less than 6" above it, at least 12" of noncombustible material between the front of the fireplace and any combustible flooring
- Mantel or shelf: how far it may project depends on its height above the opening. Check the mantel clearance diagrams in the owner's manual before ordering
Vent-free burners are heaters and have room-size limits: the manual requires at least 50 cubic feet of room volume per 1,000 BTU. Burners over 10,000 BTU cannot go in a bedroom and burners over 6,000 BTU cannot go in a bathroom. Some states and cities restrict or prohibit vent-free gas appliances, so check your local code before ordering. Glass doors must be fully open while the burner is on.
Warranty
Indoor burners and stainless steel burners, excluding controls: ten years. Valves, pilots and controls: one year. Batteries are not covered. Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems and Diamond Nuggets: ten years. The warranty is from R.H. Peterson Co., applies to the original purchaser for single-family residential use, runs from the purchase date and needs proof of purchase.
