The Osburn 2500 Pellet Stove is made from high-quality materials: Canadian steel of a higher grade, glass ceramic imported from Germany, heat exchangers made of stainless steel and thermosetting powder paint. Despite these real assets, worthy of a remarkable design, this product is offered at a very competitive price in addition to being eligible for certain credits and programs (government incentives).
Responding largely to the highest standards of solid fuels and environmental protection, the Osburn 2500 runs at an average particulate emission rate of just 0.96 g/h — under 1 g/h, and the cleanest-burning appliance Osburn makes.
Thanks to easy installation, intuitive electronic control and easy to use thermostatic control, the Osburn 2500 is for anyone who wants nothing complicated. It is also easy to clean with access to removable components without tools.
The 2500 Pellet Stove is complete as shipped; nothing else is required. Popular add-ons:
Optional:

| Heat output range | 6,648 – 28,540 BTU/h (1.95 – 8.36 kW) |
| Recommended heating area | 500 – 2,000 sq ft |
| Average overall efficiency (HHV) | 70.3% |
| Average overall efficiency (LHV) | 75.8% |

| Hopper capacity | 60 lb (27 kg) |
| Maximum burn time | 51 hours |
| Convection blower | Included, 200 CFM |
At the lowest feed rate a full 60 lb hopper runs for around 50 hours; at full output expect roughly 13 hours per hopper. That is what the 1.2 – 4.7 lb/h burn rate means in practice, and it is the figure to use when working out pellet costs for a season.

This stove needs mains power. Pellet stoves will not run during an outage without a battery backup or generator, so plan for a nearby outlet on a dedicated circuit if you are relying on it as a primary heat source.
Osburn publishes these as lettered dimensions keyed to the drawings in the installation manual rather than in words, so read them with the manual open. The values are 3" (76 mm), 3" (76 mm), 6" (152 mm) and 48" (1,219 mm) — so the tightest permitted clearance is 3", which is a large part of why a pellet stove can sit far closer to a wall than a wood stove of the same output.

| Floor protection pad — corner installation | 40" x 40" |
