Napoleon wood and barrel chips are natural hardwood smoking chips, kiln dried, for use in a smoker pipe or smoker box on a gas grill, the integrated smoker tubes on the Prestige PRO 665 and 825, or directly on charcoal. Smaller chips suit shorter cooks; Napoleon notes a handful lasts about 30 minutes. Soak them in water for at least 30 minutes for longer-lasting smoke.
