Napoleon Rosedale™ Series Gas Fireplace Insert
The Napoleon Rosedale™ 2 (RD2NE) is the smaller of the two Rosedale gas inserts, built to convert an existing wood-burning fireplace into a gas fireplace. It is rated up to 21,000 BTU/hr input and shows a 22 1/2" x 10 1/2" view of the flames behind heat radiating ceramic glass.
Electronic ignition, a standard heat circulating blower and a remote are included, and the Rosedale 2 keeps operating during a power outage. Choose a Birch or Oak log set, a backerplate and a faceplate to complete it. It is certified as a vented gas fireplace heater and vents through two 3" liners.

Once assembled, the complete appliance is thoroughly inspected by a qualified and authorized installer, service agency, or supplier before packing to ensure that you, the customer, receive the quality product that you expect from Napoleon. Gas Inserts – President’s Limited Lifetime Warranty
The following are warranted against defects for as long as you own the appliance: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless / steel burner, PHAZER® logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* During the first 10 years Napoleon will repair or replace defective parts covered by the lifetime warranty free of charge. From 10 years to life, Napoleon will provide replacement parts at 50% of the current retail price.
Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered during the first year: blowers, gas valves, thermal switches, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitors, gaskets and pilot assemblies.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered during the first year (not applicable to gas log sets) and must be done through an authorized Napoleon dealer.
