The Napoleon High Definition 81 Direct Vent See-Through Gas Fireplace offers an unusually wide range of firebox design choices for a see-through fireplace. The clean-faced surround design is understated, ensuring that it’s all about the fire. Stick to a rustic and traditional feel with hand-painted PHAZER® logs and YELLOW DANCING FLAMES®, or give the look a modern twist with the Topaz CRYSTALINE™ ember bed or the natural-looking mineral rock burner.
Besides giving two rooms a focal point, the High Definition 81 features a dual NIGHT LIGHT™ that illuminates the ember bed and firebox, adding a gentle glow to the room even when the fire is off. One fireplace, two rooms, exceptional views.
Important: a burner assembly is required to complete the unit and is sold separately. Choose the log set burner (B81NL-1), the glass embers burner (B81NG-1), or the mineral rock burner (B81NS-1). MIRRO-FLAME™ porcelain reflective panels (PRP81-1) are also required and sold separately.

Allow for finished floor and hearth thickness when setting framing dimensions, and for finishing material thickness when constructing the enclosure. Leave a 14" wide area centered along the front of the fireplace clear for vent clearance. Refer to the installation manual for complete framing, venting and clearance requirements.

Napoleon products are designed with superior components and materials and assembled by trained craftsmen who take great pride in their work. Once assembled, the complete appliance is thoroughly inspected by a qualified and authorized installer, service agency, or supplier before packing to ensure that you, the customer, receive the quality product that you expect from Napoleon. (Registered under the world recognized ISO 9001 : 2015).
Gas Fireplaces – President’s Lifetime Limited Warranty
The following are warranted against defects for as long as you own the appliance: combustion chamber, heat exchanger, stainless / steel burner, PHAZER® logs and embers, rocks, ceramic glass (thermal breakage only), gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelainized enameled components and aluminum extrusion trims.* During the first 10 years Napoleon will repair or replace defective parts covered by the lifetime warranty free of charge. From 10 years to life, Napoleon will provide replacement parts at 50% of the current retail price.
Electrical (110V and millivolt) components and wearable parts are covered during the first year: blowers, gas valves, thermal switches, switches, wiring, remote controls, ignitors, gaskets and pilot assemblies.* Labour related to warranty repair is covered during the first year (not applicable to gas log sets) and must be done through an authorized Napoleon dealer.
