The Fire Magic 3092D is a 1-hour automatic timer gas safety shut-off valve. It installs in-line between the primary gas shut-off valve and the gas appliance and shuts off the gas when the set time runs out (20-60 minutes in 20-minute steps).

Fire Magic instructions: the timer is a secondary shut-off and must not be used as the primary gas supply shut-off valve. After each use, turn the appliance controls off, turn the timer to off, and close the primary gas supply valve. Install per local codes by a qualified installer and leak test every connection with soapy water; never use a match or open flame to test for leaks.
