Empire Trim Kit Accessory for 48" See-Through Boulevard DV Contemporary Fireplace
These Empire Boulevard 48" see-through fronts are sold in pairs, one for each side of the Boulevard 48 see-through linear direct-vent fireplace (DVLL48SP90): two DF48BL black beveled trim kits, two DF48HP hammered pewter beveled trim kits, or two DFF48FPD distressed pewter forged iron fronts. The see-through manual lists all three for the DVLL48SP.

Installation Notes

Trim kit: the beveled trim kit trims out the fireplace opening and fits face finishing material (noncombustible) from 3/8" to 1 1/2" thick; it screws to the finished face and to the fireplace (trim kit instructions).

Forged iron front: two front brackets screw to the fireplace, then the tabs on the back of the forged iron front slide into the brackets; the barrier screen comes off and goes back on first.

Front and back: the see-through manual says the front glass frame can be removed for service and the rear glass frame is fixed in place. On an outdoor wall, the DFED489SS stainless exterior frame can go only on the back side.

Installation: by a qualified installer, following the kit instructions and the fireplace manual. In Massachusetts, gas work must be done by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.
