Empire Stove Fresh Air Kit for Gateway Wood Burning Stove on Legs

The Empire Stove fresh air kits for stoves on legs (model numbers WA1L and WA2L) bring outside combustion air to a Gateway stove standing on a leg kit. The air intake grille installs outside the building.

Choose WA1L for the Gateway 1700 or WA2L for the Gateway 2300.

Installation Notes

  • Mobile homes: the Gateway 1700 manual says a mobile home installation requires a fresh air intake kit and insulated intake pipe.
  • Installation: the adapter tray fits under the firebox above the ash drawer; full steps are in the kit instructions.
  • Part numbers: the 2026 Gateway 2300 manual lists the 5 inch fresh air kit for stoves on legs as SFA0309.
