Installation Notes

• Required media: the fireplace manual says the fireplace requires a log set or the mixed logs and stones kit.
• Installing: the sheet says to check the false floor against its figure, remove the glass and screen frames as a unit from both sides, set the false floor in at an angle with the pilot shield wrapped around (not on top of) the pilot base, push its three flanges in so it sits on the firebox floor, screw it to the burner with the ten screws, and bend the log locator tabs up to 90 degrees.
• Placement: the fireplace manual shows the log and stone placement for the DG36MX. The sheet says the un-lettered stones, wood splinters and vermiculite may be arranged on the false floor to suit you, but never on the burner. Replace the glass and screen frames before lighting.
