White Mountain Hearth 24" Vent-Free Loft Multi-Sided Burner

A Vent-Free system uses room air for combustion and delivers 99.9% of the available heat energy directly to the room. Vent-Free systems have an unmatched safety record, thanks in part to their clean-burning technology and their Oxygen Depletion Sensor, which instantly shuts of the valve if oxygen in the room drops to and unsafe level. Because no venting is required, Vent-Free systems offer more installation options.

Vent-Free systems are limited to 40,000 Btu and must be operated as supplemental heating sources in conjunction with a central furnace that circulates air.

VENT-FREE MULTI-SIDED LOFT SERIES BURNER (VFRU, VFIU)

A vent-free Millivolt Loft Burner may also be installed as a decorative appliance in a vented fireplace to provide ambiance and light – but without the heat. In a vented installation, the burner cannot be operated by thermostat, and the flue damper must be blocked open.  A damper clamp is included with all Loft burners.  Because IP Loft Burners include a thermostat remote and may not be installed as decorative appliances, a non-thermostat remote is available.
