Built for durability and dependable performance, the shield complements the rugged DuraTech LDC double-wall construction featuring a stainless steel inner wall, optional stainless steel or Galvalume outer jacket, and 1-inch ceramic insulation. Designed to maintain the required 2-inch clearance to combustibles, it is tested to US and Canadian standards, providing outstanding chimney safety, thermal protection, and long-term reliability.
