The DuraVent DuraTech LDC 12" Roof Radiation Shield HT is a critical chimney safety and roof penetration protection component designed for the DuraTech LDC all-fuel double-wall chimney system. Ideal for factory-built fireplaces, large masonry fireplaces, and other vented non-condensing appliances, this roof radiation shield helps manage heat exposure where the chimney passes through roof structures. It enhances fire safety, structural protection, and long-term chimney system performance in residential and commercial installations.
Engineered for UL 103 Type HT listed chimney systems, it supports diameters from 10" to 16" and features a solid-pack construction with 1" ceramic insulation between a stainless steel inner wall and stainless or Galvalume outer jacket. It maintains a 2-inch clearance to combustibles and meets US and Canadian certification standards, ensuring dependable high-temperature performance, thermal protection, and safe chimney roof installation compliance.
