Designed for factory-built fireplaces, large masonry fireplaces, and vented non-condensing appliances, this chimney cap helps protect the flue from rain, snow, debris, and animal entry while maintaining optimal chimney draft performance. It enhances the durability, efficiency, and long-term reliability of your chimney system in both residential and commercial applications.
Built as part of the UL 103 Type HT listed DuraTech LDC chimney system, this cap complements 10" to 16" diameter installations featuring 1-inch ceramic insulation, a stainless steel inner wall, and a stainless steel or Galvalume outer jacket. It maintains the required 2-inch clearance to combustibles and meets rigorous US and Canadian safety standards, delivering dependable high-temperature chimney protection, weather resistance, and venting performance.
