Ideal for wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, and water heaters, this radiation shield enhances chimney fire safety, clearance protection, and building code compliance. It ensures safe passage through structural openings while maintaining system integrity in residential chimney installations.
Built with Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between dual walls, the DuraTech system delivers superior performance by keeping the outer chimney wall cool while maintaining high flue gas temperatures for optimal draft efficiency. Its inner wall is 25% thicker than competitors for added durability and safety. Tested to strict UL 103HT standards, it withstands continuous operation at 1000°F, one hour at 1400°F, and three 2100°F chimney fire tests, ensuring long-lasting reliability and protection.
