Dimplex Revillusion 36" Portrait Built-In Electric Firebox, Herringbone
The Dimplex Revillusion 36" Portrait Built-In Electric Firebox, Herringbone (model REV36P-HB, Dimplex order number 500005736) is the vertical member of the Revillusion range. Same 36" width as the landscape model but four and a half inches taller in the framed opening, which gives the flame a full-height column rather than a wide band. The herringbone backer adds a laid-brick architectural detail behind the fire.
The Revillusion accepts three supply voltages — 120 V, 208 V or 240 V — so the same firebox can be specified for a house or a commercial fit-out and its heat output sized to the room.

The front of the firebox must not be recessed behind the finished wall. Setting it back blocks the airflow out of the heater. The flange sits proud of the framed opening by design.
Electrical Requirements
This is the decision to make with your electrician before the wall closes. The firebox is the same in all three cases; only the supply and the heat output change.

Going to 240 V nearly doubles the heat for the same firebox — worth knowing if this is meant to be a real heat source rather than an effect.

The firebox must never be in direct contact with building insulation or a vapour barrier — that is the clearance that matters most on this model, and it is easy to miss when a framer is insulating around a firebox in an exterior wall.
This is an indoor appliance. Dimplex's guide states it is not to be used outdoors. In a bathroom it must be on a GFCI-protected circuit and sited where it cannot fall into a tub or basin.
