Dimplex Optimyst RGB Pro Box 40" Rear Glass Pane - GBF1000-GLASS

Dimplex Optimyst RGB Pro Box 40" Rear Glass Pane

The Rear Glass Pane (model GBF1000-GLASS, Dimplex order number X-GBF1000-GLASS) turns a 40-inch Optimyst Pro Box into a see-through fireplace. Without it the back of the firebox is solid; with it, the vapour flame is visible from both sides.

This is the accessory that makes an Optimyst work as a room divider, a peninsula, or a fire between a living room and a hallway — and water-vapour flame is unusually well suited to it, because unlike a screen-based effect the mist has real depth and reads convincingly from any angle.

What It Fits

Decide this before you build. A see-through installation is a different enclosure from a single-sided one — it is finished on two faces, the framing is usually structural, and the fresh air inlet and water run have to be planned around having no back wall to hide them in. Retro-fitting the pane to an enclosure built as single-sided means opening the wall again.

Specifications

Dimplex does not publish the pane's own dimensions or weight separately from the fireplace. If your glazier or installer needs them, call us and we will request them.
