The American Made Grills Estate 36" Built-In Gas Grill (model number EST36) is the flagship of AMG's gas grill lineup, built in the USA from #304 stainless steel for a custom outdoor kitchen. Its three cast red brass burners put out 26,000 BTUs each, and a 12,000 BTU infrared back burner handles the rotisserie, for 90,000 BTUs in all.
It arrives with nearly everything a serious griller would add later: a drop-in infrared sear burner, a rotisserie kit, a griddle plate and a smoker tray come in the box. Lift the spring-assisted hood and you get even heat across the grates, interior lights for cooking after dark, and a grill that looks as good closed as it does open.
The cast red brass H-burners are the signature of the Estate. They spread heat evenly and sit under an easy-clean briquette system that catches drippings, turns them into flavorful smoke, and smooths out hot spots. Heavy-duty 8 mm square grates add strong grill marks, and heat zone separators let you run one side hot and the other low.
With 920 square inches of total cooking surface, the 36" fits about 40 burgers at once by AMG's count. The 12,000 BTU infrared back burner turns the included rotisserie into a slow roaster for chicken, pork loin and prime rib, and the spit stores inside the grill when you are not using it.
As a built-in, the Estate 36" drops into a 34-3/4" wide island opening. If your island has any wood or other combustible framing, AMG requires its Estate grill liner. Matching Estate power and double side burners line up with the grill for a finished look, and our built-in grills collection and outdoor kitchen planning guide can help as you lay out the space. Prefer a patio setup? AMG's Estate cart turns the same grill into a freestanding station.

AMG builds the Estate in two versions on the same body, cutout and grates. The Estate comes fully loaded with red brass burners, the sear burner, rotisserie, griddle and smoker tray. The Estate Freedom starts with stainless U-tube burners and lets you add only the upgrades you want. If you know you want every feature from day one, the Estate is the simpler choice. See both in our American Made Grills collection.
The Estate suits outdoor kitchens built around gas grilling, for cooks who want even heat, a rotisserie and searing power without adding parts later.
Reach out to our team and we will help you plan the island cutout, choose natural gas or propane, and match the Estate burners and storage.
Can I switch between natural gas and propane?
Yes. Order the version that matches your gas supply. The grill ships with a conversion kit packed with the manual, and a licensed gas installer should handle the conversion.
What do I need to build it into an island?
A 34-3/4" W x 21-5/8" D x 10-1/4" H cutout, the GL-EST36 liner if the island has any combustible materials, 14" of clearance from a protected combustible wall at the sides and rear, and 5 ft above the countertop to any overhead construction.
What is the difference between the Estate and the Estate Freedom?
Both share the same body, cutout, grates and back burner. The Estate includes red brass burners, a sear burner, rotisserie, griddle and smoker tray. The Freedom uses stainless U-tube burners and lets you add those items as you like.
Covered by the American Made Grills Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty: lifetime coverage on construction and manufacturer defects, the stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges, hood springs and briquette systems.
