The American Made Grills Encore Power Burner (model number ENCPB2) brings range-top cooking to your outdoor kitchen. It is built for the big jobs that do not fit on a grill: a stock pot of seafood boil, a wok of fried rice, a pot of chili for a crowd or a cast iron pan of potatoes.
It is styled to match Encore grills, with a stainless steel lid that closes over the burner between uses. Choose natural gas or propane to match the rest of your kitchen.
A power burner handles the cooking that would otherwise send you back inside. Bring a crab boil to a fast simmer, fry fish in a deep pot, or keep a large pan of sauce going while the grill handles the main course. Browse our side and power burners to compare it with other outdoor burners.
The burner drops into a 21" W x 22-3/4" D x 10-1/4" H countertop opening. AMG recommends building it 6" to 12" lower than the countertop so tall pots sit at a comfortable height. If your island has any combustible framing, an insulated liner is required, along with 16" to 18" of clearance at the back and sides from unprotected combustibles. Our outdoor kitchen planning guide covers layout and utilities.

Why install the power burner lower than the counter?
Tall stock pots and woks are easier and safer to handle when they sit lower. AMG recommends setting the burner 6" to 12" below the countertop.
Do I need a liner?
Yes, whenever the island has combustible framing. AMG requires an insulated liner in a combustible cabinet.
Does it come in natural gas and propane?
Yes. Order ENCPB2-NG for natural gas or ENCPB2-LP for propane.
