Superior DRI2027 27" Traditional Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert

The Superior DRI2027 27" Traditional Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert converts an existing wood-burning fireplace into a sealed, efficient gas appliance. It slides into the firebox and vents through a 3" colinear flex liner up the existing chimney, so you keep the fireplace and the mantel you already have while gaining 78% AFUE heating that an open fire cannot approach.

A 25,000 BTU pan burner and a standard 140-CFM variable-speed blower push warmth into rooms from 450 to 1,625 sq ft. The ceramic fiber log set and glowing ember bed give the traditional split-log look, behind a ceramic glass viewing area chosen for heat transfer. Electronic ignition with battery back-up keeps it running during a power outage.
