FAQs
Does the 120" Orion V2 need a dedicated electrical circuit?
Yes. The Orion V2 Multi is hardwired only (no power cord is included) and draws about 12.2 amps. It needs a dedicated 15-amp circuit at 120V (20-amp preferred), or a dedicated 2-pole 20-amp circuit for 240V operation at 10,000 BTUs. A licensed electrician should make the connection to meet local code.
What size opening does the 120" Orion V2 need?
For a fully recessed built-in, frame an opening 124" wide by 24-3/4" high and at least 9" deep (123-1/2" wide for a 3-sided or bay installation). For a partial recess, the opening is 123-13/16" wide by 24-9/16" high and at least 2-5/8" deep. The power supply goes at the top right of the framed opening.
Can the 120" Orion V2 be installed outdoors?
Yes, as a built-in installation only, under a patio cover and away from direct water and direct sunlight. The roof overhang and side protection must each be at least 50% of the height measured from the bottom of the fireplace, and the base of the fireplace must be at least 2" above the floor.

Warranty Coverage: Modern Flames warrants the fireplace and its component parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Products or components found to be defective during that period are handled under Modern Flames' official warranty terms.
