Its lightweight, unitized design eliminates field assembly of pipe sections, allowing for faster and more efficient installation in wood-burning fireplaces, stoves, and solid-fuel venting systems.
Built for performance and safety, the DuraChimney II chase top flashing features a double-wall, air-cooled design that maintains cooler exterior temperatures while promoting a strong internal draft for optimal venting efficiency. The system accommodates thermal expansion both radially and lengthwise under high heat conditions, ensuring long-term durability and stability. UL 103 listed, it is tested for continuous operation at 1000°F, one hour at 1400°F, and ten minutes at 1700°F, delivering reliable, code-compliant chimney protection and weather sealing performance.
