Empire Carol Rose Linear 48" Outdoor Fire Pit
The Empire Carol Rose Linear 48" Outdoor Fire Pit is available with integrated multi-color LED lighting in 48-inch (55,000 Btu) and 60-inch (65,000 Btu) models. The reliable spark ignition systems and three-position gas valve allows you to light the fire in seconds and set the flame height to suit any occasion. With exterior surfaces built with 11-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel, the fire pit will bring sparkle to your outdoor space for many years.

Installation Requirements

Clearances to combustibles: At least 3-1/4" from the edge of the glass bed to a combustible side wall and 12" to a combustible rear wall; no vinyl siding within 24" of the edge of the glass bed

Overhead clearance: Ceiling at least 48" above the top surface of the fire pit

Enclosure: Must be built into an enclosure (not included) with inside dimensions 51-3/4" to 52-1/2" wide, 22-5/8" to 23-1/2" deep, 7-1/2" minimum high. A propane cylinder kept in an enclosure needs ventilation openings sized per the installation manual.

Location and ventilation: For outdoor use only, in a well-ventilated space; never in a building, garage or other enclosed area. Permitted locations: walls on the back and one side with no overhead cover; under an overhead cover with no more than two side walls; or under an overhead cover with three side walls only if at least 30% of the horizontal perimeter stays permanently open (more if the openings are screened; see the manual).

Gas input (BTU/hr): Natural gas 55,000 max / 38,500 min; propane 55,000 max / 34,500 min. Above 2,000 ft elevation, reduce the rating 4% per 1,000 ft.

Ignition power: Push-button spark ignition powered by an AA battery. Models with LED lighting need a 120V GFI-protected outlet at the valve end of the fire pit.

Installation: Must be installed by a qualified installer per the installation manual and local codes.
