Empire Stove Thermodisc Kit Quick Connect for Gateway Wood Burning Stoves

The Empire Stove quick connect thermodisc kit (model number WT1QC) is a heat sensor for the Gateway blower. With the blower switched on, it starts the blower automatically when the stove is hot enough and stops it when the stove cools, so the speed control can be left at your setting.

Installation Notes

  • Installation: fasten the ground wire eyelet under one of the case screws, mount the case on the back of the stove, then plug the blower into the thermodisc and the thermodisc into a wall outlet.
  • Part numbers: the 2026 Gateway 2300 manual lists this kit as SFA1050.

From the warranty table in the stove's installation manual: the standard and optional blower, heat sensors, switches, rheostat, wiring and electronics are covered for 2 years (parts) and 1 year (labor). The warranty is for the original retail purchaser; proof of purchase, the model name and the serial number are needed for a claim. Full terms are in the warranty section of the installation manual.
