Empire Banded Brick Liner Kit for 42" Tahoe DV Luxury Fireplace

The Empire DVP42XE (model number DVP42XE) is the banded brick liner for the Tahoe Luxury 42" direct-vent fireplace. Empire's literature describes it as having dark coffee-colored bricks with charcoal mortar in running bond courses, plus an accent band of diagonal bricks. The Luxury liner choices are banded brick (DVP36XE for the 36", DVP42XE for the 42"), DVP3642XG stacked limestone and DVP3642KR black porcelain.

Installation Notes

• Service: the Premium and Luxury manuals say not to operate the fireplace with a liner removed, cracked or broken; replacement should be done by a licensed or qualified service person.
• Luxury models: Empire's 2026 Tahoe brochure says herringbone and aged brick liners are not available on Luxury models, and banded brick is available only on Luxury models.
• Price list only: the Luxury manual doesn't list optional liners or liner steps; this liner is in Empire's price lists and current brochure, but we don't have an instruction sheet for it on file, so ask us if you have questions about fit or installation.

Warranty

Empire's warranty in the fireplace's installation manual covers remote controls, thermostats, accessories and replacement parts for 1 year (parts), for the original purchaser. Full terms are in the warranty section of the installation manual.
